Create a sweet and delicate Crochet Angel Ornament using just a few simple materials. This little angel is made with a soft yarn tassel, a wooden bead for the head, and two small crocheted wings.

- 20 mm wooden bead

Crochet Angel Wings
Make 2 wings.
Wing
Row 1:
Chain 7.
Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook:
- sc in next stitch
- hdc in next stitch
- dc in next 2 stitches
- 3 dc in the last chain
Now work along the opposite side of the foundation chain:
- dc in next 2 stitches
- hdc in next stitch
- sc in next stitch
Sl st into the first stitch.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for attaching the wing.

Optional
For a slightly more decorative wing, work 3 dc in the center stitch instead of 3 dc in the last chain. This gives the wing a fuller, rounded shape.
Make the Angel Tassel
Cut approximately 25–30 pieces of white yarn, each about 8 inches (20 cm) long.
Place all the strands together.
Tie a piece of yarn tightly around the center of the strands.
Fold the yarn in half.
Tie another piece of yarn around the folded strands, approximately ¾ inch (2 cm) below the top. This creates the rounded top of the tassel.
Trim the bottom evenly with scissors.
You should now have a simple yarn tassel for the angel’s body.
Add the Wooden Head
Thread the two long ends of the yarn used to tie the top of the tassel through the hole in the wooden bead.
Pull the bead down until it sits securely on top of the tassel.
Tie the yarn tightly underneath the bead.
Tip: Add a small drop of fabric glue or hot glue inside the bead if you want the head to be extra secure.
Attach the Wings
Place the two crocheted wings together so they slightly overlap in the center.
Use the long yarn tails to stitch the wings together.
Then place the wings behind the angel’s head and sew them securely to the back of the tassel.
You can also add a tiny amount of hot glue to help hold the wings in place.
Hanging Loop
Cut a piece of white yarn approximately 8 inches (20 cm) long.
Fold it in half and tie the ends together.
Attach the loop to the top of the angel, just above the wooden bead.
Trim any excess yarn.

Give the tassel a final trim to make all the strands the same length.
